Cumbes attacks Test match bidding process

Some interesting comments from Lancashire Cricket Clubs' chief executive Jim Cumbes this morning.

The club which held its breath over the summer waiting to hear whether it would regain test match ground status for the 2013 ashes series now says that the very process of winning the bidding could lead to bankruptcy.

According to the BBC site,Cumbes says that

There are nine current Test match grounds, but only seven Test matches a summer.
"There is a danger, because not every ground can get the international matches, that a club could go bust."
