Conway to pay back £1k a month

According to this morning's Mirror, the Tory MP Derek Conway has been given a year to pay back the monies that he paid to his son.

You may remember that Son Freddie was paid £13,000 as a researcher even though it was revealed that he did no work.

Conway found the Tory Whip removed from him and will be stepping down at the next election.

However the paper says,MP's have been kind

But Commons officials are letting the MP repay the cash in 12 instalments of £1,096 taken from his monthly pay.
The easy repayment terms, only made public after a long battle with the Parliamentary authorities, has led to fresh anger.

And remember there is still the small matter of £32,000 that he paid to his other son
