
The latest opinion poll confirms what many commentators are saying.The Tories are doing well but really ought to be doing a lot better given the government's problems.
The You Guv poll in this morning's Telegraph puts the Conservatives on 40% down one on the previous poll and Labour holding firm on 33%.
Further warning's for Cameron show that his popularity is on the wane,
The Tory leader's popularity has been one of his party's strengths. But the poll suggests it is waning. Thirty-nine per cent of people think he is "proving a good leader", down from 43 per cent last month.
Asked who they thought would make the best prime minister, 29 per cent said Mr Cameron, down two points.
