More sleaze from the right wing press

The right wing press continue to investigate the Parliamentary sleaze this morning.

The Mail discovers that four MP couples are claiming the double allowence on property as the paper says,

Four husband and wife couples in the Commons are cashing in on taxpayer-funded housing allowances by claiming twice for the same home.
They are eligible for double the money other MPs get - even though they share a property.


The home arrangements of that cabinet couple Ed Balls and Yvette Cooper were known already,the paper adds another Labour couple Alan and Anne Keen,Tories Nicholas and Ann Winterton and Peter and Iris Robinson from the Democratic Unionists.For the four the total claimed is aledged to be around £145,000.

The Express meanwhile claims Gordon Brown who claims up to £20,000 for a Westminster flat even though he resides at Downing Street.
