Last year parade saw 3,000 participants from 96 Manchester charities, community groups and companies brought the streets of Manchester alive with the help thousands of Manchester people who cheered the parade along.

Councillor Pat Karney, Chair of Manchester Day, said: "I have been blown away by the imagination and creativity the groups have shown in previous parades and the sky is quite literally the limit this year and I’m sure we won’t be disappointed.

"The parade is the perfect opportunity to have a fantastic day out and show your love for your city by coming down with your family and support the City Centre and its businesses.”
