Manchester celebrates its finest in food

Manchester’s finest chefs, sommeliers, bar tenders and food retailers gathered last night to celebrate the success of this year’s Manchester Food and Drink Festival and raise a glass to the winners of the Festival awards and all the nominees.

Awards were made in 12 categories, following a public vote and subsequent visits from an independent judging panel.

Festival director Phil Jones comments: “We have had overwhelming support from both the food and drink industry and the general public in Manchester for this year’s festival, for which we are very grateful.

The quality and diversity of drinking and dining experiences in our city continues to rise, and we are proud to be able to highlight and reward them through the festival and the awards.”
