Miliband attacks Cameron over his handling of the economic crisis-meanwhile Stock markets continue to fall

Labour leader Ed Miliband has launched a scathing attack on the Prime Minister over his handling of the current economic crisis.

In an interview this morning Miliband said

"The Prime Minister may have woken up to the crisis, but he doesn’t have a plan to deal with it.”

The interview was in response to the Prime Minister's speech to the Canadian Parliament overnight in which he warned that the world is close to “staring down the barrel” of economic meltdown.

The Stock markets seem unimpressed with our leaders speech in which he talked of a lack of political will to fix the collective economies.

After opening with a mild recovery after yesterday's losses, the FTSE fell below the 5,000 barrier, down nearly 90 points,or a 1.7 per cent fall.

European markets have faired little better.Germany's Dax lost 2.4 per cent and France's Cac dropped 2.3 per cent.
