Gordon to repay £12,415.10

Meanwhile news coming in that Gordon Brown is to repay £12,415.10 overclaimed between 2004 and 2009 after recieving the dreaded letter this morning from Sir Thomas Legg.

Brown incorrectly claimed for

£10,716.60 for cleaning;

£302.50 for gardening;

£1,396 for painting and decorating.

Acording to the BBC

The claims were within the rules but auditor Sir Thomas Legg has said £2,000 a year for cleaning and £1,000 for gardening was sufficient.
