The Times reports that Obama took centre stage last night as he arrived in London for a summit that has prompted the biggest security operation Britain has seen.

Finally the Mail tells of the case of the mechanic who cut himself repairing a police car who won £400,000 damages from Scotland Yard yesterday.

His huge payout is likely to spark a new row about Britain's escalating compensation culture.
