29,000 further jobs may be cut in finnacial services in the city of London according to a report from the Center for Economics and Business Research.

The centre forecast that 34,000 jobs would initially be lost but in a press release,the centre said that

The recovery will start in 2010, with the number of City jobs rising to 313,000 in 2012, still well short of the 353,000 in 2007.
