Lead to a single point

Another Sunday, another opinion poll.Today it is Com Res in the Indy which is showing the Tory lead cut to a single point.

The figures stand at Tories 37 and Labour 36.

According to the paper

Labour support has increased particularly sharply among the bottom social group DE,
whilst

Conservative support also slumped among 18- to 24-year-olds and 45- to 54-year-olds, in the latter case from 40 per cent last month to 29 per cent today. The poll findings cast doubt over the Tories' ability to handle the crisis any better, with almost six out of 10 respondents disagreeing with the suggestion that taxes would be lower under a Tory government.
