A good day to bury bad news

Over at Open House,Chris Ames thinks that the government has picked the right day to bury some bad news

Today, as attention focuses on the US, the government has finally published some very overdue policies on Gordon Brown's sinking flagship. From the way it's being spun, it looks as if the big idea is being seriously scaled down.

Given that these are 2 months overdue suspicions are correctly raised.

But the Communities and Local Government (CLG) website says "printed copies are not yet available for all of the documents." So why the sudden rush?
