Cooper on Cameronomics

It may be that the latest survey from the CBI has warned of 2m out of work as the slowdown in the economy continues.

Yvette Cooper has shosen this morning to launch a full frontal attack on the Tory economic policies.Writing in this morning's Guardian, the chief secretary to the treasury claims that

The Conservative leader hopes to distract us with frisbees, floral shorts, and photo ops.But a serious look at his policies reveals an approach which is at best confused and at worst would be deeply damaging for our economy.
and continues

Cameronomics is emerging, in which photo ops, warm words and conflicting promises attempt to distract from a risky and destructive ideological agenda

This is the subject that the Labour government need to focus on Tory policies and it is the start of an important time for the Tories as well as they launch their economics week. They have benefited from the slowdown on the economy and have been quick to attack the lack of policy coming from the government benches. But have they got the policies to deal with the current problems? The public has seen little yet
