Obama crashes against citizen journalism

The triumph for citizen journalism across the Atlantic where one of the Huffington Post's 1800 citizen journalists scooped dome remarks made by Democrat candidate Barack Obama.

Mayhill Fowler covered a speech( you can see it here) that he made in Pennsylvania where talking about working class voters he said

"You go into some of these small towns in Pennsylvania, and like a lot of small towns in the Midwest, the jobs have been gone now for 25 years and nothing's replaced them. And they fell through the Clinton Administration, and the Bush Administration, and each successive administration has said that somehow these communities are gonna regenerate and they have not. And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations."

It was one of those off the guard moments that the main networks didn't pick up.I fact Fowler,a Obama supporter pondered for 5 days before publishing it.

Not suprisngly though his opponents pick up on the remarks,Hillary Clinton calling them "elite and out of touch"
